Green Light Limited was established in February 1996. Whilst it is London-based, it has a global footprint. The company was founded by Philip Baum, a veteran of the aviation security industry and outspoken advocate of the need to deploy a common sense-based approach to the resolve modern-day security dilemmas. He is frequently called upon to advise governments and industry, especially in respect of passenger risk analysis and in-flight security solutions. Over the last few years, Philip has been asked to consult on the way lessons learned within the aviation industry can benefit the sports, entertainment, hotel and retail industries and help ensure that all crowded and public places can be better secured using behavioural analysis techniques.
Philip is regularly invited to chair industry symposia and is a familiar face and quoted expert in the international news media. He is also the Editor of Aviation Security International, Visiting Professor Aviation Security at Coventry University and author of Violence in the Skies: a history of aircraft hijacking and bombing.
Through the provision of consultancy and training services, to educate, advise and inform individuals, organisations and governments of the threat of international terrorism, criminal activity and the actions of desperate individuals who aim to disrupt our daily lives.
